Folio 003, The Manifesto
A question, not an answer

The
Manifesto.

Project 360 is not an answer so much as it is a question, with as many answers as there are people in the world.

Project 360 is intended to act as a mirror, reflecting what makes us human in an irreplaceable, inimitable, irreproducible way.

360
Five tenets

The spine of the manifesto.

Select a tenet, or read straight through the list below.

I

The premise

Work has never been only about survival. It is structure, identity, purpose. To imagine a world without it is to confront a more unsettling question: what does it mean to be human when what we do is no longer needed?

    The premise

  2. IITenet

    The fear

Beneath every projection of automation is a deeper fear. Not of losing work, but of losing relevance. Of becoming unnecessary.

  3. IIITenet

    The crack

If a machine can recreate my work, then what is the point of making art anyway? The question that began this project.

  4. IVTenet

    The distinction

AI operates on computation. Sentient beings operate on experience. A sentient being lives through information; it does not merely process it, even when behaviourally indistinguishable from human cognition.

  5. VTenet

    The answer in motion

Human emotion is not a flaw in the system. It is the system. AI is for speed and efficiency. We are for being.

Why 360

A full circle of human experience.

360 essays. A 360-degree living emotional architecture, built around Plutchik's wheel of emotions. One degree, one feeling, one human refusal to be optimised.

The Charter

What this project is, and what it refuses to be.

Is
  • · A mirror. Observation, memory, conversation, long looking.
  • · A question with as many answers as there are people.
  • · A refusal to treat feeling as a flaw in the system.
  • · A circle of 360 essays, one per emotion, no shortcuts.
  • · Written slowly, by hand, with attention.
Is not
  • · A prediction.
  • · A product.
  • · A debate with the machine.
  • · A piece of writing any model could finish for me.
  • · Generated. Not a single word.
